Welcome to
Stegra Camps
You have been selected to work at one of the most high-profile construction sites in Europe
You have been selected to work at one of the most high-profile construction sites in Europe, at the forefront of the green industrial revolution. Please keep in mind that you represent both your company but also Stegra and our project. What you do and how you act on and off site will affect us. Therefore, it is in everyone's best interest that we all adhere to our code of conduct as well as Swedish laws and regulations. To ensure this, we have monitoring systems in place.
Below are the rules that Stegra, together with our FM partner (Coor), have established as applicable when an employee resides in one of Stegra's temporary accommodations. The house rules are intended to create a safe and comfortable environment for all guests at the hotel as well as an enjoyable stay for everyone.
All reports of errors is handled primarily through the QR-codes which exists in each room on the Stegra temporary accommodations (Slipvägen, Nylandsbäcken, Boden Business Park and Moråsen). More urgent matters are to be reported to the reception phone: (+46 (0) 10 559 75 80).
Note that the Partner accommodations may have different ways to handle complaints. More information regarding this can be found under the Accommodations tab, where you can see where to turn if you want to raise any questions or report any faults.
House rules
Personal responsibility
Upon arrival at Stegra’s temporary accommodations, guests are required to adhere to the following house rules. Failure to comply with these rules will result in costs being charged in accordance with the price list below.
Be polite and considerate. While staying in the room, you are not permitted to refurnish the rooms. Keep the room clean and tidy - wipe the tabletop, cupboards and sink and wash the dishes, kitchenware and cutlery.
All facilities are smoke-free, and it is strictly forbidden to smoke inside. Smoking and use of e-cigarettes is only permitted outside at designated areas (when applicable).
Do not litter. There are designated areas for throwing your garbage, these buildings can be found on the map in the area you are staying. Below you can download these maps for stegras temporary accommodation sites, as well as a sorting sheet.
Any breach of Swedish law, is strictly forbidden, and will result in a ban. This includes but is not limited to possession, use of and/or distribution of illegal drugs or substances, prostitution and fighting.
There are seven grounds of discrimination covered by the Swedish law prohibiting discrimination: sex, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation, and age. Stegra has zero tolerance against discrimination.
Alcohol consumption should be kept at a moderate level. Being under the influence of alcohol is never an accepted excuse for not following the housing rules or the Swedish law. Driving under the influence of alcohol (and other drugs) is illegal in Sweden and is an offense that is punishable with up to six months in prison.
Stegra has a strict zero tolerance policy of alcohol at the construction site. Random alcohol tests are performed frequently, and if a person fails the test, he/she will be dismissed from the site and will not be welcomed back to work for Stegra again. A dismissal from the construction site will also result in the individual being suspended from the Temporary Housing Program and he/she will have to move out from the room. It is therefore highly recommended to refrain from drinking alcohol on nights before working days to eliminate the risk of still having alcohol in your blood system in the morning.
No weapons of any kind are permitted in the camp (weapons are defined as impact weapons, stubbing or pointed weapons/knives and firearms). Weapons found will be turned over to the police.
All rooms are to be considered as hotel rooms and not as personal apartments, meaning that when a worker leaves for a period of one night or longer (i.e. vacation, working rotation), the person must check out from the accommodation. Hence, it is not permitted to bring the key with you when traveling home, or to register yourself at the address as this might be illegal according to the Swedish Population Registration Act.
Only registered people are permitted to stay overnight in the room. Room overcrowding is not allowed. Respect the privacy of other guests and avoid entering their rooms without permission.
- The hotel guest are not allowed to hand over a room to third persons.
- It is not allowed to have extrernal guests, friends or family members in the rooms and buildings
- The guest should notify the hotel's reception desk immediately upon noticing any damage
- Room heaters and other similar devices which are not a part of the hotel room equipment are not allowed to be used inside the rooms due to the fire safety
To ensure a respectful and relaxing environment for all guests, please respect our quiet hours. Avoid disturbing your neighbours by keeping noise levels down and refrain from unnecessary noise.
It should be quiet in the rooms and corridors:
- Sunday to Thursday: after 10:00 pm
- Friday and Saturday: after 11:00 pm
